在這場男人與房子的對抗賽中，DIY的含義是“親手毀滅一切”。凱的妻子因娜剛剛懷了第二個孩子，他們又剛剛新買了房子，凱的生活徹底發(fā)生了變化，他必須擔(dān)負(fù)起男人的責(zé)任。凱需要接受的第一項挑戰(zhàn)是改造他們的房子，將有些破舊的房子變成他們理想中的家。毫無經(jīng)驗的凱和他的兩個朋友佩多和尤夫興致勃勃，立即投入到改造工作中。然而，出師不利，剛一開始就被錘子砸了手指，之后一切都并不順利。三個倒霉的家伙垂頭喪氣，似乎做什么都做不好了，房子似乎被改造的更糟了。凱決定堅持到底，但是妻子因娜決定要在凱將房子徹底毀掉前阻止凱……
